Backing local ambition with long-term investment

Backing local ambition with long-term investment

At Isla Nublar Fylde Coast Investments, we invest in ideas, people and places across Lytham and the wider Fylde Coast. Whether it’s the regeneration of a tired building, the launch of a new venue, or the growth of a high-potential start-up, we’re here to turn bold local visions into reality.

We’re passionate about building things that last — spaces people want to be in, businesses that add value to the community, and partnerships that create genuine momentum. Our approach is hands-on, commercially focused and rooted in a deep understanding of the area we serve.

We don’t just believe in the Fylde Coast’s potential — we’re actively building it.

What we do

Place-based investment with purpose

At Isla Nublar, we focus on community-first investment projects in Lytham, Blackpool, and across the Fylde Coast. We work with entrepreneurs, public sector partners, and creative thinkers to bring to life projects that make a real impact — economically, socially and culturally.

Our investment model is based on three pillars:

Regenerate

We identify underused or unloved buildings and transform them into commercially viable, high-quality spaces. Whether it’s a market, a café, or a row of retail units, our regeneration projects add lasting value to the local landscape.

Support

We back founders and operators beyond just funding. From strategic input and branding, to project management and delivery, we offer practical support to make things happen — and keep them happening.

Led by Locals

We believe the best projects come from people who live and breathe this place. We prioritise working with local talent and amplifying community voices. That includes championing young people, entrepreneurs and small businesses who are often overlooked by traditional investment models.

Our aim is simple: create smart, sustainable projects that help the Fylde Coast grow on its own terms.

Our legacy

Over the years, we’ve helped launch and grow a number of high-profile projects, including:

  • Abingdon Street Market, Blackpool – a council-led regeneration brought to life by our team

  • The complete redevelopment of Edward Street, Blackpool – home to Andsome Barber Shop, Common Bar & Kitchen, Barcadia Media and Last Light Coffee

  • A number of ongoing hospitality and property investments across Lytham and the Fylde Coast

We’re proud of what we’ve built — and even more excited about what’s next.
